So Splendour has come...
...and it has gone.

How i wished i could have been there.
So i settled for second best.

Too Poor For Splendour.

It was very fun indeed.

Local bands, playing short sets, one night only.
For $10, it was definitly worth it.

it is only you,

There is something magical about good graffiti.
It is wild and unexcpected.
So many stories, so many mysteries.

At night they jump of the walls, creating mishcheif through the city.

Flamingo Cafe

In the "I love My Cafe" section of the latest Frankie, there is an article about Flamingo Cafe.

Twice on my trips to brisbane i have ventured into this little cafe.
It truly is amazing.
Sitting on hamburger & corn stools at little glass tables you feast your eyes on the delicious menu.
The smoothies are delicious and the food is homemade goodness.
I definitly recommend.

It is down a little alleyway in the Valley, you would never know it was there.

The people working are laughing and carrying on in the kitchen, it is just a fun place to be.

There once was a girl,
She sailed away and never came back.

lights, lights, lights

The city is amazing.

When school is over I am moving.

So vibrant, so happening.

These photos give quite a lost, overwhelming feel to the city, i however feel quite the opposite.

Do you like the city?

I think it's a neccessity,

I think it's a must.

Lets dance through the sunshine,

Let's dance till dusk.

tell me now where was my fault,

let me apologise. but let's move past those silly words.

On the 25th of June i turned sixteen.

Amongst my lovely presents was a green Olivetti 1960's typewriter.

I shall show you some photos another time.

What have i learnt these holidays?

- the city is calling me.

- trains can become quite entertaining.

- music is therputic.

- words carry more meaning than i once thought.

- manual cars take a lot of practice to drive.

- horchata is a Mexican drink

- friendship really is forever.

when the night is young,

when the music hypnotises your feet,

when there is nothing stopping you but your drumming heart,

shake your tambourine . . .
